Widely published, including numerous clinical letters in his sub-speciality areas, Dr Slater has also contributed to chapters in the Textbook of Ankle Arthroscopy and Arthritis Foot & Ankle Clinics of North America. He has further received publication honours in the ‘Marquis Who’s Who’ in Medicine and Healthcare and Science and Engineering (2004-2008) and has acted as associate editor of the Foot and Ankle International Journal.
More recently, Dr Slater spent time at New York’s hospital of special surgery, updating his knowledge in leading technology, while also continuing his research, with articles pending on minimally invasive reconstruction surgery. Dr Slater has been approached to act as an Editorial Panel Member for EC Orthopaedics, EC Orthopaedics (ECOR) journal serves as a publication platform for global researchers.
